Dr. Thompson grew up in Yuma, Arizona and is proud to be a part of the community that raised him. He graduated from Cibola High School and then completed a two-year religious service mission in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Arizona prior to earning his doctoral degree at the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health in 2012. Dr. Thompson is recognized as a leader in implant dentistry and
enjoys the continuous pursuit of excellence. He is an Ambassador of Zero Bone Loss Concepts, educating other dental professionals and enhancing patient outcomes as he shares his passion and expertise in lectures and speaking engagements.
Course Description:
Endodontic therapy and dental implants have classically been viewed as competing or opposing treatment philosophies. This lecture aims to challenge this position, demonstrating how the disciplines can be quite complimentary. A series of cases will be presented to highlight how an in depth understanding of endodontics
and dental implants, particularly immediate dental implants, greatly enhances patient experience and treatment outcomes.
Course Objectives:
By the end of the course, clinicians will be able to:
• Understand an overview of modern endodontic treatment options and success rates.
• Understand case selection for endodontic and immediate dental implant treatment.
• Understand the benefits of immediate dental implant therapy.
