MINEC LIVE
Continuing Education Webinar Series
Featuring Austin Lyman, DDS, MS
Join Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon Dr. Austin Lyman for a 90-minute lecture exploring the benefits of immediate implant placement from surgical, restorative, and patient-centered perspectives.
This program will review the indications for immediate implant placement and discuss techniques for predictably achieving primary stability, even in extraction sockets with minimal remaining bone. Dr. Lyman will also examine the factors that influence insertion torque and successful immediate implant outcomes.
Participants will learn how to identify and classify Type A, B, and C extraction sockets and understand the treatment considerations and surgical approaches associated with each clinical situation.
Through practical, evidence-based concepts, attendees will gain valuable insight into achieving predictable results when placing implants at the time of extraction.
By the end of the course, clinicians will be able to:
• Learn the surgical and prosthetic benefits of placing implants at the time of extraction.
• Identify how initial stability can be gained in even molar sites with a thin or no septum.
• Understand the role that implant design plays in the ability to gain initial stability.
• Learn the indications and contraindications of immediate implant placement
