Dr. Griffin completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Tennessee‒Knoxville and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with honors from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. He has completed advanced postgraduate training, including:

• One-year Implant Externship, Midwest Implant Institute (Implant fixture placement and advanced bone grafting) • Advanced Soft-Tissue and Bone Grafting Training, Medical University of South Carolina
• Residency in Conscious Sedation, University of Alabama at Birmingham • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
• Oral and IV Sedation Certification, Tennessee State Board of Dentistry
